Calling all 8-12 year olds... Get ready to enjoy your winter break at KCAT with no grades, no tests and no stress! Let your creative self loose and join the fun in our immersion film lab where you will learn scriptwriting, acting and filming to produce a movie in just 2 days!!

Camp Dates, Times, and Location:

Two day sessions run during Winter Break.
Session 1: Monday 12/22 & Tuesday 12/23
Session 2: Monday 12/29 & Tuesday 12/30
2 Full-day sessions each week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Location: KCAT TV15 Studio situated on the Los Gatos High School Campus.

Acting Workshops for Ages 11-14!

Lights, Camera, and Confidence will be the theme of KCAT's studio acting workshops led by professional actress, Joelle Drake. Each class will be packed with fun, energy, and creativity to help kids shine on stage and in life!

Camp Dates, Times, and Location:

January 3-week Session: Mondays, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26
February 3-week Session: Mondays, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23
Sessions run from 4:30pm - 6:30pm each day and include healthy snacks.
Pizza party on the last day of each session.
Location: KCAT TV15 Studio situated on the Los Gatos High School Campus.

2026 Summer Camp at KCAT TV15 Studio!

Here we go... Summer 2026! Calling all 9-13 year olds to join the fun at KCAT TV's FREE 2b ME multimedia camps. This year we'll be adding more excitement to creating your live TV show with perks like a walking field trip into "Town" for interviews and b-roll! Afternoon Movie and Podcasting camp will be ultra cool with scriptwriting, filming, editing and more.

Get ready to let your creative self loose with no grades, no tests and no stress! Camp Dates, Times, and Location:

Weekly summer camps run from June 8 through Aug 7, Monday to Friday.
Half-day morning sessions (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) focuses on TV studio production and live show creation which includes journalism, weather and field trip.
Half-day afternoon sessions (1:30 PM - 5:30 PM) centers around movie production and podcasting which includes on-location filmmaking, acting, scriptwriting and editing.
Full-day sessions (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) offer an immersive blend of TV, movie, and podcasting experiences.
Location: KCAT TV15 Studio situated on the Los Gatos High School Campus.

Film Festival:

Date: August 10 at 10:00 AM.
The end-of-summer Film Festival at the Los Gatos Theater marks the grand finale of our movie camp. Friends and families are invited to this special event, witnessing campers' cinematic creations on the big screen.
