TALK OF THE TOWN FEATURING DAN PULCRANO
Host Michael Jacobi chats with "icon" Dan Pulcrano, Editor and CEO of Weeklys, which includes the Metro of Silicon Valley. Dan is not a newcomer to the newspaper business as he started the beloved Los Gatos Weekly in 1982 and never looked back. His mantra to providing a quality community newspaper is "you have to immerse yourself into the soul of community" which translates into stellar reporting that matters to people. After the sale of the LG Weekly, the quality reporting and local news diminished drastically, and Dan realized that the residents missed a community newspaper that enhanced people's lives. Thus he created the Los Gatan and now has 14 publications throughout the South Bay. Dan has a rich history of taking on controversial issues while providing communities with local news, sports and information that offers residents a pride in their Town. Tune in to Jacobi's interview with Dan as he continues the "flame of journalism" for the people.
