GERMAN WINE TASTING- NOT JUST RIESLING!
Join Ryan Smith, Certified Sommelier and owner of Ancora Vino, for a guided, educational tasting of six German wines. We’ll taste Riesling, sure, but trocken (dry) in style, as well as unique white and red wines. These aren’t Blue Nun- these are small production wines from both centuries old, historic producers and exciting new upstarts. Selections will span the diverse subregions of the country, including the Mosel, Rheinhessen, Rheingau, Pfalz and Baden.
In addition to sampling some great wines, each attendee will receive a complimentary KCAT Oktoberfest logo wine glass and snack foods. This will be fun! The Wine Tasting Experience begins at 5 PM.
